Complies with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.128
Each year, thousands of workers are killed or injured as a result of falls from scaffolds and other elevated work surfaces. This program addresses the proper selection, use and inspection of fall restraint and fall arrest systems. It examines the benefits provided by the use of full-body harnesses and body belts, as well as their limitations. The program defines the requirements for lanyards, anchorages and lifelines, and describes how the body will be affected during a fall arrest. The program also demonstrates the procedures for avoiding common hazards from incorrect use of fall prevention equipment. 20 min.
